Craig McLachlan has his . sold Sydney apartment after dropping his high-profile defamation lawsuit.
The 56-year-old actor released a statement last week after the NSW High Council was told he would no longer sue ABC, Sydney Morning Herald and actor Christie Whelan Browne.
McLachlan had been accused of touching, kissing and groping actresses without permission.

According to the Sydney Morning Heraldthe former Neighbors star has just sold his one-bedroom Potts Point pad for “about $1.4 million.”
The publication also claims that McLachlan and his partner, Vanessa Scammell, were “quietly shopping” [the apartment] to buyers last year for $1.6 million to $1.7 million.”
McLachlan still owns a four-bedroom property in Blue Bay on the Central Coast, which has been in his family for decades.
He took full ownership of the house in 2007 and there is no mortgage on the title, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
Daily Mail Australia has asked McLachlan for comment.

The sale comes after the actor dropped his defamation lawsuit, citing the toll it had taken on his mental health and family.
It is clear that McLachlan has received legal bills of more than $3 million from the legal battle.
He planned to sue ABC, Sydney Morning Herald and Christie Whelan Browne over allegations that he touched, kissed and groped actresses without permission in the stage productions Rocky Horror, Neighbours, City Homicide and The Doctor Blake Mysteries.
He wrote off Mrs. Whelan Browne’s claims and those of Erika Haynatz and Erika Scundi as “completely and completely false.”

He dropped the libel case on the first day of the 11 women who had to testify.
When the defamation case was dropped, McLachlan said, “The pressure this case has placed on me and, more importantly, my family has been utterly overwhelming.
“I can’t keep putting my family under that pressure, and my own mental health can’t handle the ongoing pressure.”
Acting Judge Carolyn Simpson sacked the jury after the actor’s attorney, Kieran Smark SC, applied for a leave of absence to end the proceedings.

The announcement came on the same day that the first of 11 women were set to testify against the actor – with Ms Whelan Browne making an emotional statement saying she had been traumatized by the years of legal action.
Kate McClymont – who wrote one of McLachlan’s stories for the Sydney Morning Herald – claimed he had to pay a $1.1 million bill for her publication alone.
Ms Whelan Browne released a statement last Friday saying she was pleased the lawsuit had been dropped.
However, she said her name had been tarnished by the smear campaign.
