Johnny Depp’s reaction to Kate Moss’s words sparks love

Johnny Depp’s “beautiful” response to Testimony from Kate Moss has sent fans of the former couple into a frenzy.

The supermodel entered the booth in the Depp and Amber heard libel lawsuit to deny rumors that he pushed her down a flight of stairs.

But while Depp’s supporters celebrated the legal victory, others were distracted by several “sweet” details about how the former lovers interacted.

Many noticed Depp’s reaction when Moss’s face appeared on the TV screen, via a video link from the UK.

“The smile on his face when he saw her on screen…..Gold! I literally got tears,” said one.

“Can we talk about how Johnny’s face lights up after seeing her face on the screen…” added another.

A third wrote: “Johnny’s face was so sweet. Exactly the opposite of when Amber was in the stands.”

Another noted how significant the difference was in the way Depp addressed his former lovers as he sat in the stands.

“And when he talked about her, he said Kate, calling Amber just Miss Heard,” said one Twitter user.

“His last statement before the break was so emotional that I actually burst into tears.”

Another added: “He called one ex by her first name, another by her last name. If that doesn’t speak volumes, I don’t know what does. It was beautiful.”

Others took to social media to share their excitement about the former couple, who dated from 1994 to 1998.

“When your ex stands up for you 30 years later,” commented one Twitter user.

Another tweeted: “This is real love and respect between two people.”

A third added: “I’m so glad she stepped forward for this, she really loves Johnny very much. She looks beautiful as always, Bravo Kate Moss.”

Some even went so far as to hope for a reconciliation, despite Moss’s current romance with photographer Nikolai von Bismarck.

“I wish this would bring them back together. They make such a lovely couple!”

Another said: “I loved them then, love them now. I would love to see them together again.”

Moss’ testimony was praised by many social media users.

“Kate Moss’ testimony may have been quick, but it was impressive,” said one.

“Not only did he NOT push her down the stairs, he ran back when she screamed and carried her back to her room and got her medical help.”

The British model was called to the booth after Heard referred to a rumor that Depp pushed Moss down a flight of stairs while on vacation in Jamaica.

During her four-minute testimony, Moss debunked this suggestion.

“We left the room and Johnny left the room before I did and there had been a rainstorm and when I left the room I slipped down the stairs and hurt my back,” Moss said.

“I screamed because I didn’t know what was happening to me and I was in pain and he came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical help.”

When Depp’s attorney asked Moss if he’d ever pushed her down the stairs in the course of their relationship, she replied, “No. He never pushed, kicked or threw me down a flight of stairs.”

Depp took the stand shortly after Moss and was asked about his memory of the fall.

“I remember seeing Kate come out the door and come,” Depp testified.

“And there were three little wooden steps and she slipped, her legs went up and she landed right on her coccyx, on her lower back.

“She was obviously in physical pain and she was hurt, she was crying, so I ran up to her and grabbed her to make sure she was okay.

“That’s it, that’s the whole story.”
