The Deep Dark Biome in the coming Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update will be one of the scariest biomes ever added to the popular sandbox title. While Mojang made the beast a lot stronger, there are a handful of ways for players to effectively progress through the biome.

Well, now you’re gone and you’ve done it… All that noise you’ve made woke the director! Do you want to test your courage in #TheWildUpdate† Coming June 7! https://t.co/MasruunFU8

Previously, The Deep Dark Biome and the Warden would be released in the Caves and Cliffs Update. However, Mojang pushed them back as they wanted to expand the features.

Later, during the 2021 Live Event, they reintroduced these features along with a new structure called Ancient City that will be generated in the biome. Mojang observed the Warden’s weaknesses and made them stronger with the release of each Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update snapshot. Here’s how to handle the new additions.

Ways to survive effectively in the Deep Dark Biome in Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update

Use carpets and wool

The Deep Dark Biome in Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update is filled with different types of sculk blocks, some of which can detect sound vibrations. Blocks such as the sculk sensors are the most dangerous because they can be activated with any sound vibration and consequently activate the sculk-shrieker block that the director

However, these blocks do not detect sounds from: Carpets and Wool Blocks not at all. Whatever noise these blocks make, it will not create a significant sound vibration that could trigger the sculk sensor.

If players place them, walk on them, run or even jump, they will not activate sculk blocks. Therefore, its use in the Deep Dark Biome in Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update will be groundbreaking.

Players can bring stacks of these blocks to the biome, creating a network of safe passageways for them to run and jump on. They can even block sculk sensors by placing wool blocks all around them and prevent their sound signals from going to sculk screeches

Even if players accidentally summon the warden, they can easily escape from the area without warning the beast by using these passages made of carpet or wool blocks. Aside from carrying strong armor and weapons, this is the most effective way to survive in this haunted biome.

Plan an easy escape route

In the upcoming Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update, players can encounter the new biome and feel like they are headfirst exploring. However, they must plan their expedition thoroughly if they are to survive.

If the players make even the slightest noise, the screeching will summon the director, and running away from the beast will be quite difficult simply because of its sheer strength. The director can run fast and fire a sonic boom that permeates everything.

Therefore, before entering the biome, players must build the fastest and safest escape route for the worst-case scenario.
