Giggling Charlotte amazes Jubilee crowds

Four members of the Cambridge clan went to Wales to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, but it was Charlotte who got all the attention.

Princess Charlotte burst out laughing on Saturday as she conducted a band on her first royal visit.

Mama Kate Middleton showed the Royal seven-year-old boy, the royal ropes as she protectively held her hand during a platinum anniversary visit to Wales, The sun reported.

The Duchess of Cambridge grabbed her daughter’s hand when she met entertainers putting on a show to mark the Queen’s 70th reign.

They were joined by Prince William and eight-year-old George, who also walked hand in hand, for the royal trip to Cardiff Castle, in the Welsh capital.

Charlotte, dressed in a smart navy frock coat and blue Mary Jane shoes with white ankle socks, smiled as her mother waved to the benefactors.

At one point, the seven-year-old appeared to be trying to make a curtsy as she got out of the car with her family on arrival this morning.

She was later pictured giggling leading musicians performing We don’t talk about Bruno from the popular Disney movie encanto at the castle.

Kate and Wills also tried to conduct the orchestra as they erupt Dear Caroline

The Duchess was dressed in a long red coat – matching the color of the red dragon on the Welsh flag.

George, who is expected to one day be named Prince of Wales, joined his family as they chatted with crowds of royal fans.

William put his arm around his eldest son while he also demonstrated how official agreements are made.

It is touching that George’s visit reflects his father’s first official visit to Wales at the same age when he went on a trip to Cardiff with Princess Diana and Charles in 1991.

He and Charlotte looked a little insecure when they met the royal goat Shenkin IV on their trip today with their parents.

But younger brother Prince Louis – who stole the show when he appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with his family and the Queen after Trooping the Color on Thursday – missed the visit.

He saw the adorable royal jumping for joy after being stunned by the Red Arrows before talking to his great-grandmother, Her Majesty.

A few hours earlier, Charlotte was snapped while playfully calming her little brother as he waved enthusiastically to huge crowds watching Trooping the Colour.

The royal youngster placed her hand on her younger brother as she sat in the carriage.

Today Kate, Wills, George and Charlotte watched rehearsals and met some of the acts taking part in the celebrations, including Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, during the young siblings’ first official visit to Wales.

Bonnie was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honors last week for her contributions to music.

Anniversary parties

Other royals are visiting elsewhere in the UK as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrate their daughter’s first birthday behind closed doors in Windsor.

The Sussexes, who first introduced Lilibet to the Queen this weekend are supposed to celebrate the special day privately.

Meanwhile, Kate and Wills were with other members of the Firm at St Paul’s Cathedral yesterday for a special thanksgiving service.

While the Queen, 96, was unable to attend due to mobility issuesCharles and Camilla, Beatrice and Eugenie and Zara and Mike Tindall were in force.

Kate and William arrived to cheers from the crowd waiting outside.

But Harry and Meghan were in the second row on the right, away from the Cambridges in the front left.

It is reported that palace staff spent months working behind the scenes to perfectly choreograph the Jubilee service so that Harry and William would not come face to face.

The brothers sat on different sides of St Paul’s and arrived with their wives at different times.

The couples did not make eye contact or acknowledge each other.
