Internet ‘outraged’ when TikTok star is shamed by employee at horse ranch

A TikTok star has shared footage of a young cattle rancher calling her a “fat b*tch” after she was forced to leave because of her weight.

A body positive influencer has shared her shock after she was “fatally shamed” on social media by a cattle ranch employee.

TikTok US star Remi Bader shared her experience after being turned away from a horse ranch in Montauk, New York, because of her weight.

But after the 26-year-old’s clip went viral, a Deep Hollow Ranch employee allegedly called her a “fat b**ch” in a clip that has since been deleted.

The furore started when Remi took to TikTok to reveal that she hadn’t been able to ride a horse during a recent influencer trip.

“I have ridden horses before and never had this problem. Please advertise this on your boards for the future,” she captioned a video featuring footage of the ranch.

She then overplayed the footage with the caption, “Shoutout to Deep Hollow Ranch in Montauk for letting me leave because I weigh over 108 lbs (240 kg).”

Remi, who is known for her positive body content and has over 2 million TikTok followers, was on an influencer journey hosted by Jon Bon Jovi and his son Jesse’s company – Hampton Water Wine.

On the ranch’s blog, a guide states that “a rider should be no more than 15 percent of the horse’s weight.”

It has a list of options for “The Best Horse Breeds for Plus Size Riders,” but there doesn’t seem to be any information about weight restrictions, neither on the blog nor on the Ranch’s website.

However, an employee of the ranch seemed unhappy with her public complaint and responded to the social media platform with his own video.

“If you’re not a fat b**ch, you can ride at Deep Holllow Ranch,” the staff member explained.

Shocked by the staffer’s response, Remi shared images with her own TikTok, writing, “Imagine this is a deep hollw (sic) ranch’s reaction to your experience.”

The video has since been removed and the ranch has a pronunciation on his Facebook page.

“It has come to our attention that a TikTok video has been posted about the ranch and a teenage employee has posted a comment that in no way reflects or reflects the views of the ranch owners,” it read.

“We want to apologize to anyone who has offended this and we do not endorse or agree with any part of that employee’s video.”

Jesse Bongiovi has vowed never to work with the ranch again.

“We are outraged by the events that took place at Deep Hollow Ranch and their treatment of our good friend, Remi Bader,” said Jesse. pronunciation read.

“The Hampton Water team and our third-party suppliers were not made aware of the ranches’ policies prior to the event and would never put anyone in a situation where they would feel uncomfortable.”

Jesse went on to say that his company will no longer be working with the ranch and did not condone any of the events that followed.

“Inclusivity and friendliness are rooted in the foundation of Hampton Water. We would like to offer our deepest apologies to Remi.”

A witness on the trip told page six a female ranch hand led the group of influencers through the goings-on of the fillies when she stopped Remi “in front of the whole group and said, ‘You can’t ride'”.

The source is said to have said that Remi told them she had ridden before, but they told her, “You weigh too much.”

When Remi replied that she had never heard of the restrictions, the female farmer is said to have said, “That’s not my problem.”

After the incident exploded on social media, Remi’s followers bombarded Yelp with negative reviews about the ranch declaring the act “deplorable”.

“It is disgusting not only to fail to advertise the 240 weight limit, but to publicly shame a woman for her weight. Not to mention a terrible business practice. Shame on Deep Hollow Ranch,” wrote one woman, giving it a one-star rating.

Another wrote: “Employees believe it’s okay to call a fellow human being a ‘fat b**ch’. “Weight limit is understandable. However, transparency is key!”
