MAFS star hints at Todd Carney split

Reality TV star Susie Bradley has seemingly signaled her split from NRL bad boy Todd Carney in a series of cryptic Instagram posts.

Married At First Sight star Susie Bradley has seemingly confirmed her divorce from NRL bad boy Todd Carney in a series of cryptic Instagram posts.

The on-again, off-again couple has been in a relationship since 2019, and the couple got engaged in December 2020 before welcoming their first child in March of last year.

Now it appears the pair have gone their separate ways, with Bradley hinting at her recent heartbreak in a social media post on Wednesday night.

The ex-reality star posted a photo of herself sitting by a pool with a broken heart emoji added to the photo.

This is the latest in a series of emotional posts from Bradley, who has also removed all traces of the former NRL star from her Instagram page.

Earlier this week, she posted a photo of the ocean, which she simply captioned “Stunned.”

She then shared another photo of herself looking into the camera, captioning it: “You never know when life will f*** you all over.”

Carney, meanwhile, has completely deleted his Instagram account.

Another hint that the couple may not be on good terms came in the form of a post shared on Bradley’s cosmetic page, The Beauty Clinic.

She shared an image on the company’s Instagram page showing a bad weather warning from Virgin Airline and a text message saying her flight had been cancelled.

“Could this day get any worse,” Bradley captioned the image.

She then promised her clients in Lithgow that she would be in touch and planned to fly for work that evening.

The last time the couple was photographed together was in a beloved Instagram post for Valentine’s Day in February.

“Love isn’t always perfect. It’s not a fairy tale or storybook. And that is not always easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, taking on challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It’s a short word, easy to spell, hard to define and impossible to live without,” she wrote alongside a series of images of the couple together.

“Love is work, but above all, love is realizing that every hour, every minute and every second was worth it because you did it together. We are real.”

She also hinted at a date for their wedding, writing, “Bring on December 3, 2022”.

Following her ill-fated marriage to barista Billy Vincent on the hit Channel 9 show MAFS, Bradley was spotted in public with Carney as early as March 2019.

Carney came into the NRL spotlight as a 17-year-old but his career was derailed by a series of off-field incidents in which he was fired from Canberra and released by the Sydney Roosters before the infamous bubbler incident in Cronulla finally saw him. banned from the NRL.

At the time, someone posted images of Carney appearing to be peeing in his own mouth on Instagram, and that was the end of his both great and incidental NRL career.

Carney, who now lives on Queensland’s Gold Coast where he works as a concrete maker, says he has found peace in his life and wants athletes across the country to learn from his mistakes.

Bradley is also the mother of a five-year-old daughter named Baby from a previous relationship.

Last year, the couple shared the first photos of their first child together, while also revealing their bold name choice.

“Lion Daryl Carney. Born Aries, March 27, 2021 at 10:50am, 7lb 9.4 oz, 50cm tall on a perfect fall day,” Carney wrote on Instagram at the time.

He also shared a photo of Bradley breastfeeding Lion.

“The most common traits of a lion are majesty, strength, courage, justice and might. A lion represents both softness and strength in one. Having a lion in your life allows you to make positive changes in the lives of yourself, your family and your friends. We love you, our little lion. You’ll be one of the greats,” he said.

Carney and Bradley announced their first child would be a son during a beautiful gender reveal video posted online.

It was during the reveal that Carney popped the question and caught his partner off guard.

Carney posted the moment on Instagram, writing: “We all have dreams and in 2020 all of mine have come true. In 2021 my greatest gift will happen with a little Todd on the way and I will marry my best friend.”

Bradley shot down critics in late 2019, when the couple reunited after a few months together.

“It’s pretty certain that it’s been no secret that Todd has been on the run in the past,” she wrote online. “I also made quite a few disastrous mistakes.

“But guess what? We own them and we’ve worked them through, and that’s up to us, so go us, we came out the other side.

“Please keep your damn opinions to yourself. If you can’t respect my relationship, please leave, otherwise I’ll just block you, which takes so much time.”
