Activision’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare II trailer was a huge success, as fans greatly appreciated the franchise’s work. More than the rating, they were finally happy with a release date for what they considered to be the most anticipated title. However, new rumors are circulating around the internet claiming that a new ‘Tarkov-inspired’ game mode will be added to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

A Twitter user revealed this information via a post when he mentioned a few more details about the game mode. Apart from that, he also talked about the release date and a few other features.

The Modern Warfare II prequel came out in 2019, limiting fans to a single title under the series. Fans complained about the scarcity of titles, which eventually led to the production of Modern Warfare 2. But after the production announcement, the franchise put the game off for years until its announcement this year.

Now post the trailer and a few other updates about the game, there are rumors of a new game mode. Twitter user Ralph revealed this information in his latest tweet. He said, “Modern Warfare 2: ‘Tarkov-inspired’ mode, currently called ‘Project Nexus’, is slated to release free-to-play before 2023.

Internet lurkers have now leaked crucial information about Duty Modern Warfare 2 even before the trailer release. So, with new leaks about the Tarkov-inspired game mode, keeping the subject in limbo would be a rookie mistake.

From now on we believe that Infinity Ward will do a traditional release of Modern Warfare 2 with 3 game modes: Singleplayer, Multiplayer and an all new Co-op experience.
