Does everyone feel a little more relaxed after non-E3? Okay, we’re still waiting for a Nintendo Direct, but we do have one Xenoblade Chronicles 3-focused presentation, where a new Expansion Pass was unveiled The AM2R developers are reunited on a brand new stunning looking Metroidvania project† And Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition And last but not least released on consoles earlier this week

It was also a busy week for Sonic, who celebrated his 31st birthday on Thursday! We sat down with Takashi Iizuka, the head of Sonic Team, to discuss Sonic Origins† We also have high praise for AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative in our review† And if you want to know where the best Good Bois are on Switch then our list of the best dogs has you covered.

Now it’s time to relax and discuss our weekend game plans. a few mmembers of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to read our entries and then join yours via our comment section. Enjoying!

Help out. I can’t stop playing neon white† This game is so addictive; sometimes, even though I got on the leaderboard and got the Ace medal, I keep plugging into the level because I saw another possible shortcut. The highest I’ve posted is around 150 so it’s not me That good, but it’s so satisfying to move up the ranks.

Also on the roll Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Land† Is it time I confess that I’ve never played Torna yet? I am totally in love with Lora and Addam. But I’m up to my usual Xenoblade tricks of running around, fighting against too strong enemies, doing every sidequest and getting lost exploring. Ah, it’s good to be back.

“This is the season of countless game reveals where I play with my backlog like a sliding block puzzle. I can’t decide which game to play because my heart is being torn from left and right! The unveiling of the Crisis Core Remake and part two from Final Fantasy VII Remake finally gave me the push I needed to dive into the first volume on my PS4 (please don’t deny me).

As for Switch, I recently finished AI: The Somnium Files leading up to the release of the sequel, nirvanA initiative (I went hands-on with the game opening hours for the YouTube channel – check it out here! – and already quite shocked!)

I also played on Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes and while I enjoy my time I can put it down for a while to try and clear a few more things on my plate before the other big RPGs reach us next month. Looking at you live aliveDigimon Survival and Xenoblade Chronicles 3…

I am currently playing 3 games! The Witcher 3 (yes, it’s still going well), which I’m on the last DLC now. Hopefully, not too far into the future, I can finally say that I’ve completely beaten The Witcher 3!

I also started a playthrough of Hollow Knight which is always a blast along with a new playthrough from cup with my brother in preparation for the long awaited DLC

As many as eight physical Switch games arrived last week, including long-sought titles like Windjammers 2 and Horgihugh and Friends. wreck party is an absolute dream conversion while Pac-Man Museum+ finally put my favorite games of the franchise (Pac-Man Arrangement and Pac-Mania) within reach.

Unsurprisingly, the game of the week is Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. This is an absolute must-have for anyone who’s played Fire Emblem: Three Houses, even if you don’t like the “Musou” series, as it chronicles the events that happened to everyone while skipping time. Long live King Dimitri!

I’m still getting through it slowly but surely Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic currently. I swear I’ll finish it soon, honestly! I’m enjoying it as much as I can because rest assured I won’t be touching the sequel until it a) receives the extra DLC, and b) it is done!

Otherwise I mainly dive into a few new games Sonic Origins and autumn boys† The latter is much more fun than I thought it would be and I find it quite addictive. All it takes is for Craig Charles to give some sarcastic narration in the background (shout out to all the Takeshi’s Castle fans out there).

As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!
