An Australian health coach who reviews McDonalds menu items from around the world has given a breakfast burger a glowing review.

Bec Hardgrave, from Brisbaneis best known for recreating healthy versions of classic fast food dishes on its popular TikTok and Instagram and currently travels the world comparing McDonalds in different countries.

She recently visited the fast food chain in New York and gave the American McGriddle sausage and egg burger at “20 out of ten.”

In the third episode of her video series “Rating McDonalds Around the World as an Aussie,” Bec sampled the McGriddle which is not available in Australia.

The McGriddle has a sausage patty, cheese and egg sandwiched between two maple syrup flavored pancake rolls embossed with the takeout chain’s logo.

“Oh my gosh, I didn’t even know what this was until I opened it and I realized it was almost like a pancake, I could smell maple syrup,” she said in a whisper. clamp posted on TikTok.

The traveling nutritionist’s video garnered tens of thousands of views and dozens of comments from fans expressing their own international McDonalds opinions.

“Was in New York over Christmas and New Years, had about five in the time I was there, was great and really annoying, can’t get them back in Melbourne,” one Aussie wrote.

“I do this when I travel, I try a big mac and something special for that area… the best Maccas are still Tokyo, Japan, and the milk pies… like a custard pie, but so much better,” a second said.

“Definitely needed in Australia…it was the first thing I had to have at Maccas in New York when I was there a few weeks ago,” commented a third.

In another video, Bec describes her visit to McDonalds in Ireland, where she had sugar-free lemonade, mozzarella dippers, chips with sweet curry sauce and a vegan burger that she gave a ten out of ten.

‘It was so good. I gave the rest of mine to Tim and he didn’t even realize it was vegan until the end and he was very impressed,” she said, referring to her friend and traveling companion.

She steered clear of the “under 400 calories” menu and tried the hot sandwiches and breakfast sandwich instead.

“The hotcakes tasted like the pancakes you buy in a package at the supermarket,” Bec revealed. “They were kind of hard to chew.”

She added: “It also had this great brown sauce that I think we should get on our menus in Australia.”
