In response to David’s comments about her diet in a recent interview, Victoria told Vogue: “I mean, talk about making me sound boring! No. What he meant is that he has never met anyone more disciplined with the way they eat.

‘I eat a lot of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, that sort of thing. I do drink alcohol unless I have a reason not to.

“I will detox from anything for three to six months where I will not drink. I’m pretty extreme in everything I do, whether it’s eating or exercising or drinking or not drinking.’

Earlier this year, David gave an insight into Victoria’s eating habits as he discussed his own favorite foods during an interview on the River Che Table 4 podcast.

He said: ‘I get quite emotional with food and wine, when I eat something great I want everyone to try it.

“Unfortunately, I am married to someone who has been eating the same food for 25 years.

‘Since I met her she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will rarely deviate from that.’

Last week, Victoria also came under fire from famed Spanish chef Dani Garcia, after he laid out her “strange” dinner demands while attending Ramos’ wedding.

Dani recalled Victoria carrying coconut water “all the time” as well as bowls of mints, calling the habits “strange” in a new interview.

Speaking of what it was like to cook for the designer at the June 2019 wedding banquet near Seville, Dani told Spanish TV: “It was very strange. Victoria Beckham changed the whole menu.

“It was very sad, because when you put in such an effort, not only me and my team, but also the bride and groom and everyone else have put together a unique menu.

“Her’s was completely different and based only on vegetables. And then there were some strange things that I’ve never seen in my life.

“It was complicated to give Victoria her menu that night.”

Last year, she said her comfort food was whole-wheat toast with salt on it and admitted, “For most restaurants, I’m probably their worst nightmare.”
