Who is Shivon Zilis, the director Elon Musk reportedly welcomed twins with?

Shivon Zilis is the name on everyone’s lips right now, thanks to a report claiming she quietly welcomed twins to Elon Musk last November†

Zilis, Neuralink’s director of operations and special projects, is described as a “thought leader” in the world of machine learning and AI, having delivered impressive feats at the age of 36.

According to court documents obtained by: InsiderZilis and Musk welcomed twins weeks before the Tesla billionaire was welcomed a second child with his ex-girlfriend, Grimes, via surrogate last December† The couple has yet to comment on the report.

Since the beginning of her work in a number of from Musk companies, Zilis has been incredibly supportive of the tech mogul, but not many people could have guessed their relationship.

Who is Shivon Zilis?

Insider describes Zilis as “a rising star in Musk’s empire” who was even mentioned as a possible candidate to run Twitter if Musk takes ownership of the social media company.

Zilis received her bachelor’s degree in economics and philosophy from Yale in 2008, where she also played goalkeeper on the women’s ice hockey team, according to her profile on Lifeboat network†

She began her career as a Senior Strategist at IBM in 2008 and continued as Chief Adventurer at Bloomberg Ventures in 2011.

There, she impressed with her work on internal incubation and partnerships, later becoming a founding member of Bloomberg Beta in 2012. In 2015, she was listed on Forbes‘ 30 Under 30 list in the venture capital category. She was 29.

How did Shivon Zilis and Elon Musk meet?

Zilis met Musk through her work with OpenAI, the nonprofit artificial intelligence organization he co-founded in 2015.

She worked briefly at Tesla as a project director, but now works as a director of operations and special projects for neural linka neurotechnology company developing implantable brain-machine interfaces, co-founded by Musk.

The company describes its goal as “now building devices that will help people with paralysis and invent new technologies that will expand our capabilities, our community and our world.”

Musk is currently co-CEO of Neuralink.

Are Shivon Zilis and Elon Musk Dating?

Zilis and Musk have not yet publicly commented on their relationship or their children.

Musk has most recently associated with Australian actress Natasha Basset† According to Hollywood lifethe pair are in a “monogamous relationship” and have been photographed in different locations on several “dates”.

On June 1 Vanity Fair reported that the pair were caught enjoying a “relaxed lunch” in St-Tropez, France.

How many children does Elon Musk have?

The reported arrival of Musk and Zilis’ twins means his known number of children is now at nine.

He shares twin sons Griffin and Xavier Musk, both 18, and triplets, Kai, Saxon, and Damian, all 16, with his first wife, author Justine Wilson.

When Musk merged with singer Grimes, the couple welcomed their unusual name to X AE A-XII, 2, as well as their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, who was born in December 2021.

Now he also reportedly shares twins with Zilis, who were born in November 2021. Their names have not yet been announced to the public.
