When his son posted on Instagram about his poker win, Liz Hurley wrote, “Well done, Cub xxx,” to which Jackson responded with two love heart emojis.

“The pinnacle of poker,” wrote Jackson.

“Just finished Day 1D of my very first WSOP main event!

“I thought I was going to be a lot more nervous than I was, but I felt comfortable pretty quickly.

“Have a day off tomorrow and start day 2 Friday at 11am.

“I bagged $83,900 (USD).

Simone Callahan was married to Shane Warne for 10 years. The couple broke up in 2005.

Aside from son Jackson, they had two daughters – Brooke, 25, and Summer, 20.

Warne and Liz Hurley began dating in 2010, shortly after her divorce from businessman Arun Nayar.

The couple met at the races and Warne proposed to her in 2011.

They remained engaged until 2013, when the wedding was called off.

“When we were together, we both had a great time. Unfortunately it didn’t work out,” Warne said after the split.

“It wasn’t something she or I did wrong, it just got out of hand.

“We’re still good friends, we’re still in touch, we’re good to each other, and our kids get along very well.”

After Warne’s death, Hurley posted an emotional tribute to her former fiancé.

“I feel like the sun has disappeared behind a cloud forever. RIP my beloved Lionheart,” she posted a photo of a series of engagement photos taken in Sri Lanka.

In another, longer post, she wrote about her pain at not being able to attend his funeral in Australia.

“My heart aches that I can’t be in Australia tomorrow for Shane’s funeral. I was filming last night and the time jump means I can’t physically get there,” she said.

She wrote about the photos taken in Sri Lanka, saying, “We had all our children with us and it was the happiest time.”

“It still hasn’t really sunk in that he’s gone,” she added.

“It seems too cruel that all the people who loved him will never get another Lion hug again, but our memories will live on forever.

“RIP Lionheart, with love you Luna.”

On Tuesday, Jackson Warne shared some memories of playing poker with his father, who often took him to tournaments.

“This trip four years ago,” Jackson captioned a photo of Shane wearing a hoodie and sunglasses on a 2018 trip to Vegas.

“This one [2022] trip was the first time I played at the WSOP main event with my best friend and father.

“I miss you so much and wish you were here to play with me.

“I’ll make you proud and get the $.”

Jackson revealed in a 2020 interview that he’s been playing poker since he was a kid, taught by his poker-mad dad.

The poker game started when the family was on long-haul flights and had to pass the time.

“I enjoy it now. I’m not a professional, but one day I’ll try to be,” he said.
